It’s not easy getting a band going as you get older and these songs were the driving forces that kept us motivated the last few years. The work truly starts now because we have so much more coming down the pipeline. 2026 we got more tunes, more shows, more streams, more vids, better ingredients, better pizza Papa Johns type shit fr fr

For my sweet boy Dexter -

We found each other at a very formative time in my life. I had just graduated college and moved to NYC with @nedmahomie . We decided to get a cat because cats are awesome (we were dirty college grads and wanted the laziest solution to any possible rodent problems in an old nyc apartment). In my search for the perfect rat killer , I ended up finding the sweetest living creature on earth. When I first pulled him out of his little hiding place at the shelter they told me he was very scared and shy. To their surprise he immediately nudged my face and snuggled into my arms. I was now ready to conquer entire nations for said adorable creature.

From there we spent almost 15 incredible years together. He was there through my first real studio jobs, my first time touring the world, Meg and I moving in together in Hoboken, a cross country move in a Corolla to California, getting married, the births of our children! The list goes on. He was always there. (This dude was also an absolute STUD hunter. This freakin cat managed to catch a bird in a 4th floor apartment in New York City. I still don’t know how)

You found me right when the next phase of my life was starting and I could not have imagined a cooler sidekick. No matter what was going on, I always knew I had a good face nudge and some snuggles waiting for me whenever I needed. I write this with a very heavy heart, but he truly brought me nothing but happiness. Rest in cat paradise Dexter Pants Jones Mele.
