9/10 was a bittersweet day and experience for me and my exec board as we traveled to Orem, Utah to attend the one year memorial of Charlie Kirk’s assassination.

Yes, it was sad to remember and relive that day while standing in the very spot that it happened, but it was also inspiring to see the impact he had on our generation. I cling to hope that his legacy will live on in the thousands of us that have inherited it.

I will always remember the day he was assassinated, and I will also remember where I was exactly one year later. In the beautiful mountains of Orem, on the amazing campus of Utah Valley University, staying awake for 50+ hours straight so I could fly out there and back in one day.

Hey y’all! I wanted to let y’all know about an event @sfl.mtsu is hosting this Thursday, September 17, in the James Union Building’s Tennessee Ballroom from 6:00pm-9:00pm!! We will be hosting Students For Life Spokesperson @lydiataylordavis , @jadenheard , and Di Bell from Portico, Murfreesboro’s Local Pregnancy Resource Center for a Q&A on chemical abortion!

Many states have outlawed abortion and some have allowed full term abortions like Massachusetts. Sadly, chemical abortion is at an all time high in those states that have made abortion illegal like our home state Tennessee. It is so easy to get access to abortion pills; it’s harder to get piercings and tattoos than it is to get an abortion! Just ask @thomas._.dinkel ! Come to be equipped with truth, meet likeminded students and community members, and enjoy some free Kona Ice!

@chrismerkel_ , @raeganbecquet , and I will also be speaking!! We would love to have y’all!

The link to the Eventbrite will be in my bio! Thank you and God bless you!!

Over the past 10 days, I have had the amazing opportunity to table at the Tennessee State Fair and help people register to vote with @tpusa_mtsu!!

In my free time at the fair, I helped campaign for State Senator Mark Pody, joined Senator Pody in the opening parade, volunteered at The Lion’s Club of Wilson County, explored the FREEDOM 250 trailer, held ACTUAL pieces of Noah’s Ark, and experienced so many things that I wouldn’t have been able to without the kind donation from Senator Pody.

Over the last week and a half, I have also made several connections and met some lifelong friends that will help me to get even more involved in my community and local politics! taken in Wilson County Fair - TN State Fair by @chrismerkel_
