This week, I celebrated 10 YEARS of being a full-time entrepreneur in the financial planning & wealth management space. 🎉

As I write this, I’m headed home from Houston, reflecting, and there’s 1 thing I keep coming back to:

GOD IS GOOD. 🙏🏾

When I started this business, I had no idea what I was getting into. I just knew I wanted to help a lot of people and create an impact that would positively impact my family.

This decade has challenged me in ways I never could have imagined. I was young when I started and had a LOT to learn—not just about business, but about life, leadership, relationships, discipline, faith, and myself.

I was constantly pushed outside my comfort zone and had to learn how to get out of my own way so I could effectively lead others.

Looking back, the education has been invaluable. The relationships have been timeless.

I’m honored that I get to serve people and their families through some of the biggest moments of their lives.

Over the years, my team and I have helped families:

🎓 Send children to college
💰 Save millions in taxes
🏡 Build homes
🕊️ Provide financial security when someone passed
💍 Fund weddings
📈 Build and distribute multigenerational wealth
🏖️ Prepare for and enter retirement
🛡️ Replace income when illness or injury prevented someone from working
❤️ Protect assets when unexpected long-term care needs arose

The list could go on.

This work is about so much more than financial products or numbers on a spreadsheet. I view it as helping people become good stewards of the resources God has entrusted to them.

Today, I celebrated 8 years of sobriety!!🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽😱😱. It is absolutely amazing what can happen when you surrender fully to Jesus. There is so much of my life that I leave off of socials, but I am telling you, your life can literally change when you surrender to Christ. And I’m not talking about just believe in him, I’m talking about having a real relationship with him and walk with him DAILY. I could not have done this on my own, but I am so grateful for the life that he is building.

To anyone that is wrestling with alcohol, I am here for you and you are not alone. Hit me up!

What a day! 🏃🏾‍♂️🔥

The Peachtree Road Race was everything—fun, challenging, and 100% worth it. The crowd, the atmosphere, and the energy throughout Atlanta were absolutely unmatched.

I finished in 41:52, which is 2 minutes faster than my time last year! It’s makes me wonder what I could do if I actually trained!

One of my favorite parts of the day wasn’t the PR, though. It was getting to go back and finish the race with my wife, Renee’. That made an already great day even more special. ❤️

One of my biggest takeaways from today is that who you surround yourself with matters. I was running alongside some incredibly strong runners, and their pace challenged me to run faster than I probably would have on my own (6:45 pace). There’s something powerful about being around high performers—they have a way of raising your standard without even saying a word.

That’s a reminder I want to carry into every area of life: keep putting yourself in rooms, relationships, and environments that challenge you to grow.

Already looking forward to next year. Happy 4th!

Renee’ and I knocked out the Invesco QQQ Half Marathon (13.1miles) today 🏃🏽‍♂️🏃🏽‍♀️💨

So proud of Renee’ for setting this goal at the start of the year and absolutely crushing it. Watching you cross that finish line after all the work you put in… unreal. 🙌🏽

It was also cool that I snagged my half-marathon PR (7:36/mile) without training — I love that we get to move our bodies together and push each other in the best ways.

Now it’s time to eat some GREAT food…I can confidently say I earned it. 💯💪🏽🍽️ by @chrisogletree21
