We are excited to announce Daniel Spivakov’s @daniel.spivakov exhibition with Stallmann Galleries @stallmann.galleries and in collaboration with figuigui//pepin @natkanat_ @chrispepper77 , under the title Minotaurs. On the occasion of Gallery Weekend Berlin, Spivakov presents his latest series of paintings in a prominent location, which will also serve as his studio in the following months.

Spivakov creates an overflow of images by overpainting, physical layering of panels, or digital alterations. Just as the compulsive consumption of doom scrolling his random combinations let us wander aimlessly as the Minotaur does in his captive maze.
Spivakov’s creatures reinterpret their ancient myth through a contemporary lens. To see pain where we were taught to see threat — that is what it means to contemplate empathy for the Minotaur.

Daniel Spivakov, Minotaurs, 2 - 4 May 2025
at Lindenstr. 35, 10969 Berlin
