This is an audio clip from an episode of the “SoundCheck Radio Show” by @ChrisRedJam. Nocturnazine’s own music reviewer Melanie, of Shades of Violette, also contributes regular installments over there with her feature titled “Melanie’s Musings”. During this episode Melanie said, “…What I like about Nocturnazine is that it’s rooted in discovery, thoughtful writing, underground artists, and a carefully curated feel that makes you want to slow down and really engage… Writing for the zine gave me a chance to slow down, listen deeply, and really sit with what these songs were doing—emotionally, sonically, and atmospherically. If you’re drawn to discovering new music, thoughtful writing, and independent voices, I encourage you to check out Nocturnazine…” Much gratitude for her kind compliments and clever migration between our review platforms. Melanie’s segment begins at minute 5:30 and can be listened to in full at mixcloud.com/chrisredjam/soundcheck-radio-show-with-chris-redjam-february-1-2026. 🦇 Remember that hearing positive feedback means absolutely everything to artists and creatives alike—so let’s please hear from YOU! 🦇🖤 Give @Shades.of.Violette.music a follow, listen, and download at ShadesOfViolette.bandcamp.com.
