The most beautiful places don’t just change the view, they change your pace. Lago di Braies reminds me that slowing down isn’t falling behind; it’s finally noticing where you are. Towering mountains. Stillness across the lake. A boathouse that fits the vibe. It all moves at the pace it should before the crowds arrive by @chrisroams

The journey to Drangarnir is one of my favorites in the Faroe Islands. When it comes to the “most known” hikes, this is one of the longest. Starting along a beautiful fjord, eventually you’ll find yourself perched on a hill looking down at these marvelous views. Secret spots can be found if you know you’re way around. While some folks consider the trek down the scary part, especially after wet days create mud that can easily mess with your footing along sheer drop offs. I recommend going with a guide for that reason alone. And then the real reward- finding yourself up close and personal with pure majesty. If you’re lucky with the tides and you know a guy, or I should say a certain farmer, you’ll be able to catch a boat back (by jumping off slick rocks) and you’ll get a quick tour through the sea stack arch. Packed with adventure, Drangarnir is by far a memorable trek when you’re roaming the Faroes best 🤯 by @chrisroams

Find me daydreaming of Lago di Como 🇮🇹 a stunning region known for luxury, beautiful villas, gorgeous mountains, buffalo mozzarella, romantic slow living, Aperol spritz’s, natural beauty, and a vibe beyond vibes. Standing face to face with the Torres Del Paine giants 🏔️ a sunrise hike should be high on the bucket list, but you’ll likely need a rental car, and a plan to manage your gas consumption as you bounce around. Nearest station is about 2 hours outside the park (so plan well 😂). by @chrisroams

One of the most remote and isolated churches, with a grass roof, down a long (almost) single lane road, at the end of a fjord. This place has changed a lot over the years, but I was lucky enough to spend a few visits over 8 years ago now before tourism really picked up. Everything felt pure and untouched. Timeless in my mind. by @chrisroams
