Four years done, and I’ve learned more than I ever dreamed I would. I learned how to treat people, but more importantly, I learned how to befriend and treat myself. I discovered the value of pursuing healthy relationships and not holding my happiness hostage while waiting for better opportunities to arise. I found that having fun with family is better than having fun alone, and that spending time outside is the best thing on earth. I learned that no matter how far you run, God will always find you. I’ve learned a lot, but this is just some of it.

Most importantly, I realized how crucial it is to live in the present, because that is all that truly exists. The past gives you an identity, and the future holds the promise of salvation and fulfillment, but both are illusions.

BSC taught me so much, and it’s a shame that others won’t have the opportunity to experience the place I was lucky enough to. by @chrisrubin_
