A great time was had at the Louisiana Democratic Party’s Masquerade Sneaker Ball in honor of Vice President Kamala Harris and various democratic candidates for the state of Louisiana!

I am beyond grateful for the Youth Democrats of Louisiana, and this opportunity which was presented to all members! I am honored to be of contribution to this wonderful organization, and can’t wait to take on more initiative in the future!

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a future and a hope.”

- Jeremiah 29:11

As I look back on my high school journey, all I can say is God did it🙌🏾! Every obstacle, every setback, every moment where I didn’t see a way forward, He made a way. There were times I felt overwhelmed, uncertain, and even discouraged. But through it all, God remained faithful. He reminded me that His plan was still unfolding, even when I couldn’t see the full picture.

I didn’t do this on my own. It was nobody but God who gave me strength when I was weak, peace in the chaos, and purpose in the process. He surrounded me with the right people, opened the right doors, and shut the wrong ones, because He knew exactly what I needed to become who He’s called me to be.

Now, I step boldly into this next season, knowing that the same God who brought me through high school will lead me through everything that comes next. Whether it’s college, the military, or whatever assignment He places before me, I’m walking by faith, not by sight.

This is just the beginning. And I’m ready, because God’s not finished with me yet.
