🏡 Down payment assistance sounds AMAZING… but before you jump on it, ASK THESE QUESTIONS: 👀

💰 Is it truly a grant, or is it a second loan?

📈 What’s the interest rate on the first mortgage?

💵 Is there a monthly payment on the assistance?

⏰ When does the assistance have to be repaid?

🏠 What happens if I sell, refinance, or pay off my mortgage early?

💳 Are there income, credit score, or purchase price limits?

📋 Am I giving up a lower rate or better loan option by using the assistance?

Because the program with the biggest down payment assistance isn’t always the program that puts you in the best overall mortgage.

That’s where I come in. 😉
