Testing the limits of the Canon R50V crop sensor. Our church @calvarywestlake recently made the purchase as a camera for volunteers and other teams that would be out of the regular rotation of gear for our Film Department. What are your thoughts on full frame vs crop sensor cameras and what do you use?!

I can’t believe we’re almost halfway through the year already!

One of the greatest joys of this season has been shepherding our church @calvarywestlake through a 365-day Bible Reading Plan 📖 in my role as Online Community Pastor.

What a beautiful way to meet with our congregation both online and in person, wrestle with biblical truths and ultimately walk alongside people as they seek to live and love like Jesus.

It has a been a uniquely cool way to use my creative visual gifts as well!

This talking head celebrating our progress is a glimpse into my color grading 🎨 process behind the scenes.

I have fully enjoyed running the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 through its paces and…this thing just gets it.

Making our church small is one of our values and we were looking for something to empower our volunteers and help carry the story/essence of our church. It’s tiny, low-key, but shoots like it belongs on a rig twice its size.

Our Communications team has been handing it off to both volunteers and ministry leads, and every time the footage comes back clean, cinematic, and actually feels like the moment.
