with love from paradise ✨ by @christajenae_

Love is truly a beautiful thing. 🤍 It’s such a blessing to love and to be loved, not just romantically, but by family, friends, & community. I think that’s half the reason I couldn’t hold back the tears as my big sis walked down the aisle this weekend 🥹 she's legit just so easy to love.

It was an honor to stand by my best friend on one of the most important days of her life. I’m even more grateful that I got to witness her find her forever. 😍💍 You deserve all the love, joy, and happiness in the world MG! 🤍 by @christajenae_

After finally catching up on some much-needed rest, I can finally do my annual NABJ dump lol. Well, well, well… what can I say? 🥹 NABJ truly has a way of exceeding my expectations every year. This was only my second conference, and the connections I’ve built, organizations I’ve joined, sessions I’ve attended, and people who continue to pour into me have filled my cup in ways I never could’ve imagined.

I was blessed to lead a panel alongside the rest of the Young Black Journalists board this year, and I found myself in tears days later because the conversation and wisdom we shared were honestly things I needed to hear for myself. God has a way of giving you exactly WHAT you need, exactly WHEN you need it. ❤️

NABJ truly is one big family reunion just like everyone says! I was so happy to finally meet friends I usually only interact with online, reconnect with former colleagues, professors, friends and classmates, and make even more new memories along the way. Most importantly I learned a TON! I love the media industry so, so much!

I can’t wait to do it all over again next year in Houston! 🤠

We were not created to do this walk alone! So glad I have the honor of doing life with these lovely ladies. I love each of you 💓 I remember praying for a tribe like this and to now see the manifestation of this is surreal. Incredibly grateful by @christajenae_
