Well, I finally did it. 🤎 Creating this page has been on my mind for a while, and I’m so excited to finally have a place to share the journey. Expect to see some of the challenging workouts, the wins, the crazy days, how this journey is growing my faith, and everything else in between.

Welcome to my little corner of internet! Let's lock in on these goals together 💪🏾 #blackwomenfitness #hyrox #wellness #weightloss #militarylife by @trainwithchrista

Don't let your mindset hold you back! Sometimes the only thing standing between you and your goals is the belief that you can’t. Keep showing up. No matter how imperfectly it may be. You might surprise yourself. 🤍

I had to rebuild my relationship with food to lose fat and maintain muscle💪🏾 No more eating one meal a day or undereating in hopes of seeing results. I had to started fueling my body instead of starving it. This continues to look a lot like ground beef, salmon, steak, eggs, oatmeal, Greek yogurt, and of course… Coke Zero. 😂🙏🏾 by @trainwithchrista

Data says fewer than 1–5% of adult women can do a single strict, unassisted pull-up and ya' girl is trying to be in that percentage 💪🏽😭 by @trainwithchrista

They say there's a first time for everything, right? 😅🌴
Thought it was super cool to still squeeze in some workout time while cruisin' to the Bahamas! After all, the perfect vacation to me includes the perfect mix of adventure, self care + relaxation.

5 days in the Bahamas 🚢🌴🍽️ and yes… I ate GOOD 😂 thanks @royalcaribbean ✨

A couple meals were intentionally planned, but most were simply meals I ate because I was on vacation & wanted to ENJOY it.

And that’s the point. 🤍

Fitness doesn’t have to mean restricting yourself or feeling guilty about food.

For me, it looked like:
✨ Making intentional choices when I could
🥗 Adding protein, fruits & veggies when it made sense
🍝 Eating the pasta
🍰 Having dessert
🍹 Enjoying the experience

You can be committed to your goals AND enjoy your life. You don’t have to eat perfectly to make progress. You just have to find balance. 🫶🏾

No matter how perfect people seem online, I guarantee you they are facing struggles you know NOTHING about. We are all imperfect people in need of saving from the PERFECT savior.

Fitness is just a tool to help us take care of the body we’ve been given, not a test of human perfection. Be gentle with yourself, give yourself some grace, & remember that you don't have to have it all figured out to keep moving forward love y'all ✨#relatable #fitness #jesuslovesyou❤️ by @trainwithchrista

Looking back on my journey this last year, my weight loss was never just about my appearance, it was about getting my energy back. (These pics are just 9 months apart) 😩I remember being exhausted DAILY, and with my busy schedule, I could NOT keep running on empty. The biggest shift wasn't on the scale, though. It came through how I began to feel and my mindset!

I used to believe missing a workout meant the end of the world. But now, I understand that pivoting when life gets crazy is just part of the process. You don’t need to be a 5 AM gym person or have an unrealistic schedule to meet your goals. You just have to stop waiting for "ideal conditions" and start moving where you are.

Losing lbs for me came down to building a flexible hybrid routine that fits around my life, NOT the other way around. Doesn't matter if it’s a heavy sled push, a run, Pilates, or a quick 20-minute circuit between errands, movement is now my power hour, not a punishment.

To anyone with a chaotic life and a full plate, you can still make your health a priority. Zero guilt. Zero perfection required 💯 #transformation #fitnessjourney by @trainwithchrista
