Man oh man, where do I start? It has been hard the past 2 years, trying to find my identity again. After playing baseball my whole life, that is what I became. It wasn’t until after I was released by the Rays, that I realized I didn’t know who I was. From then on, I turned to things to cope from the pain, but still never truly felt whole. Being back in school has been really humbling but a blessing as well. God is so good and has blessed me with some great people. He has also saved me from my old life. At the beginning of this year I decided to get into my faith and started to read my Bible, struggling back and forth between what I wanted versus what God wanted for me. In the process I’ve had to look into the mirror and be honest with myself. After contemplating baptism for a few months, I finally decided to make the decision on December 16, 2024, to publicly declare that Jesus Christ is my savior. I would like to thank @ransom_u for giving me a life changing experience at Heavy Hitters this past weekend and surrounding me around people on the same mission!! The job isn’t done though! Let’s keep going and stay on 🔥 for ✝️. by @christian2johnson
