GPT (Genesis. Paradox. Trace) - 2025

“G.P.T. (Genesis. Paradox. Trace.)” is a critical reflection on the growing presence of artificial intelligence in the arts, and the paradoxes it generates. The piece examines how tools like ChatGPT can become both a source of inspiration and a mechanism of creative erosion: while offering immediate access to knowledge and ideas , they risk undermining artistic depth, individuality, and embodied imagination.

At the same time, the work highlights the often-invisible environmental impact of artificial intelligence, drawing attention not only to its high energy consumption and carbon footprint, but also to the extensive water usage involved in maintaining and cooling AI servers. This hidden ecological cost raises urgent questions about sustainability and responsibility in a world increasingly shaped by digital infrastructures.

The piece invites the audience to question what is gained and what is sacrificed when creation becomes entangled with AI technologies.
