Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. Through Him is the only way we become who we were actually created to be. If we say we’re saved, then we have to deny our flesh every single day. No matter how we feel. No matter what we’re going through. No matter who’s around. Feelings change, circumstances change, but God’s standard doesn’t. The way we live matters to Jesus way more than it ever will to the world. You’re gonna mess up. You’re gonna hurt people, and people are gonna hurt you. You’ll have seasons where you feel lost, discouraged, or like you’re on top of the world. But being a real follower of Christ means choosing to trust Him and obey Him every single day, intentionally, not just when it’s easy. One of the biggest traps is saying we love God while still chasing the world. I know because I was there. I was stuck, confused, trying to figure out who I was. God had to humble me, expose what was in my heart, and make me face the distractions and the things I kept running to instead of Him. And that’s where everything changed.
Following Jesus isn’t about becoming religious, it’s about becoming who you were always meant to be. Real freedom, real peace, real identity… it’s all found in Him. Don’t be too late by @christianlyons_
