‘Life on the patio’ featuring @michaelmcdonaldofficial is out now. Spring of 2022 we had just played sxsw and made the long haul back to La only to stop off at my grandma Carols(a literal oasis) in Mesa, Arizona. We were all fiercely depleted and I think we hit her pool before even unpacking if i remember correctly. We laid out in that desert sun for a few hours as gma tossed us la croix’s and homemade prune bars. At some point @tinodrima went inside and sat down on the piano and conceived what would become LOTP. Pops turned me on to the @doobiebrothersofficial at a young age so when i heard Michael Mcdonald was down to feature on it I couldn’t believe it. A true honor to play on somethin graced by his timeless voice. Thanks to @robertharringtonmillsjr for capturing the drums(@bathmasterstudios) and helping guide this drum track to where it needed to go. Proud of this one- hijack that aux chord at the next pool function u at, turn it up and summer down by @christianmidthun

immaculate vibes at gold diggers last week. damn near sold it out. thx to everyone who pulled up. we gonna run it back soon but in the meantime, go stream and share ‘passing by’ & ‘first time’ so we can prove we don’t need no label or big money behind us to make an impact. much love 🚀 📸 @lefilmmm by @christianmidthun
Proud of this kid @zakkdoofus~ my protege. He took lessons from me for 6 years and he had the mojo out the gate. About a year into lessons he lost his father and my heart shattered for him. But he really took to honing his craft and it was a beautiful thing to see him embrace the healing powers of music. Caught him live for the first time tn n he crushed. Unfortunately i wasnt able to mosh :/ (see sign above) by @christianmidthun
