Hey Besties! 💜 Welcome to Blessed Is She!

If you’re new here, I’m Tomeka—aka Christian Momma. 🙋🏽‍♀️

I created this space for women who love God but are also navigating REAL life—marriage, motherhood, careers, health, relationships, purpose, waiting seasons, laundry that still needs folding 😂 and everything in between.

Because I’ve learned that God isn’t only present in the big, life-changing moments. He’s in the everyday moments too.

Here you’ll find biblical reminders, devotionals, prayer, Christian lifestyle content, encouragement, and probably a few laughs along the way. 💜

Blessed Is She isn’t about having a perfect life or perfect faith. It’s about believing God, trusting His promises, and becoming who He has called us to be.

📖 “Blessed is she who has believed that the Lord would fulfill his promises to her!” — Luke 1:45 NIV

Tell me in the comments: What are you trusting God for in this season? 👇🏽💜

Okay besties, I’m excited to have y’all here! Let’s grow in God together. 🙏🏽💜 by @christianmomma

Bestie... before you send that paragraph, pray.
Because sometimes we ask God to fix the
situation after we’ve already made it worse. Invite Him in before you hit send 🙌🏽🙏🏽

🩺💕 1-HOUR LUNCH BREAK AS A NURSE PRACTITIONER! 🛍️🍝

Hey besties!! Come spend my 1-hour lunch break with me! 💕

First stop, Hobby Lobby! 🎄 I was on a mission to find some Black Santa pictures I saw online, but baby, NO LUCK! 😩 And y’all already know how Hobby Lobby goes…went in looking for ONE thing and found a little bit of EVERYTHING ELSE! 😂🤦🏽‍♀️

Found some cute earrings because when I got off work yesterday, one of my Coach earrings decided to say, “FIND ME!” 😭😂 Also picked up the cutest little mirror with a love yourself affirmation for my desk, a good women’s devotional, and BESTIESSSS…if you know me, you KNOW I’m obsessed with monkeys! 🐒💕 I found the cutest Christmas monkey and I AM IN LOVE!! 🎄😍

Still no Black Santa, but I’ll check the Hobby Lobby closer to my house another day!

Next stop, La Madeleine! 🍝🍓 Their creamy pesto chicken pasta and strawberry pineapple refresher NEVER disappoint!! Soooo good! 😋

And y’all, I even ran into one of my former patients whom I cared for during her pregnancy TWO YEARS AGO! 🥹💕 Such a small world! Moments like that remind me why I love what I do! ❤️

Well besties, my hour is UP! ⏰ Time to get back to the clinic and take care of my patients!

Another blessed day, another lunch break adventure! God is so good! 🙌🏽💜

See ya later, besties!! 😘💕

Bestie, your weakness is NOT proof that God has abandoned you!

Paul asked the Lord to remove his thorn, but the answer was a reminder that Christ’s grace was sufficient.

📖 2 Corinthians 12:9 (NIV)

Sometimes we’re so focused on what we lack that we forget WHO we’re depending on! 🙌🏽

💜 Christian Momma Reminder: God’s strength is greater than your limitations.

Bestie, have you ever felt like nobody sees you? Like you’re doing your best, fighting battles nobody knows about, and wondering if anybody even cares? 🥹💜

Well, let me introduce you to HAGAR! 🙌🏽

Hagar was mistreated, rejected, and sent into the wilderness. But BABY, even when she felt alone, GOD SAW HER! 😭🙏🏽

📖 Genesis 16:13 — Hagar called Him El Roi, the God who sees me!

And that’s your reminder today, bestie!

Just because people overlook you doesn’t mean God has forgotten you. He sees the tears, the struggles, and the things you don’t even have words to explain.

You may be overlooked by people, but you are NEVER invisible to GOD! 🙌🏽💜

When I say I should have lost my mind… BABY, I LITERALLY SHOULD HAVE LOST MY MIND!! 😩🙌🏽

I could’ve given up. I could’ve crashed all the way OUT! I could’ve let everything I went through change who I was. But for whatever reason, GOD DECIDED TO KEEP ME! 🥹🙏🏽

And when I look back over my life, I know it wasn’t because I was so strong. It wasn’t because I had everything figured out. It was nothing but the grace and mercy of GOD! 🙌🏽😭

There were battles nobody knew I was fighting, tears nobody saw me cry, and moments when ONLY God knew what I was going through.

But look at me now! Still standing. Still smiling. Still trusting. Still giving HIM the glory! 💜

Bestie, I don’t know about you, but I have a WHOLE testimony! And I’ll never stop thanking God for keeping me when I couldn’t even keep myself! 🙏🏽🙌🏽

If God has ever kept you through something that should’ve taken you OUT, this is your reminder to GIVE HIM PRAISE! 💜

#GodKeptMe #ButGod #ChristianMomma #MyTestimony #blessedisshe by @christianmomma

Baby, if God waited until we had everything figured out before He used us, WHO WOULD BE LEFT?! 😩😂🙌🏽

You don’t have to be perfect to walk in obedience. You just have to keep depending on Him!

God isn’t asking you to pretend you have no weaknesses. He’s teaching you to rely on His strength. 💜

📖 2 Corinthians 12:9

Come spend my 1-hour lunch break with me as a Nurse Practitioner! 🩺💕🍗

So originally, I was going to take my son something to eat since he’s home sick, but baby was still knocked out 😴😂 So I just Venmo’d him some money to DoorDash whatever he wants when he wakes up! Momma duties never stop! ❤️

First stop was the bank to make a quick deposit, and then I decided I wanted some CHICKENNNN! 😂🍗 So Popeyes it was!! And y’all already know my go-to order: 3-piece wing meal, red beans and rice, jalapeño on the side, Louisiana hot sauce, and a frozen strawberry lemonade!!! BABYYYY, it was SO GOOD! 😋🔥 I smashed that food so fast, you would’ve thought I hadn’t eaten in days! 😂😂

And y’all, the radio was JAMMINGGG! 🎶💃🏽 I was vibing out my ENTIRE lunch break! So much that the bank teller caught me dancing in my car!!! Y’ALL, I WAS SO EMBARRASSED! 😭😂😂 But hey, sometimes you just gotta enjoy yourself and the little moments in life!

On a serious note, I’m so thankful and blessed to have made it through another work week! 🙌🏽🙏🏽 God has been so good to me, and I never want to take another day, another opportunity, or another blessing for granted! 💜

Now that I’ve fed my face, handled a little business, and had my own personal concert, it’s time to get back to taking care of my patients! 🩺💕

See y’all later, besties!!! 💜😘

Good morning, besties!! 💜☀️ Come ride to work with your favorite Christian Momma! 🩺💕

But FIRST… y’all already know we gotta have that Red Bull before anything else! 😂⚡️ And can we take a moment for my cute little Halloween scrub hat?! 🎃👻 Too cute!!

Oh, and before I forget… TODAY is the LAST DAY of early voting! 🗳️ Get out there and exercise your right to vote! Because y’all know what I say… if you don’t vote, you can’t complain! 😂👏🏽

Now let’s get this cardio in!! 🏃🏽‍♀️💪🏽 I take the stairs to my office every morning to sneak in a few extra steps! Because listen, every little bit counts! 😂

And if you didn’t get your steps in this morning, DON’T WORRY… you just got them in with Christian Momma!! 🤣🙌🏽

Another blessed day, another opportunity to move this body, take care of my patients, and thank God for the ability to do BOTH! 🙏🏽💜

Have a blessed and productive Friday! See y’all later, besties!! 😘💕
