✨2022 recap dump ✨

a year full of amazing memories:
- disneyland for the 1st time✅
- attended a bunch of music events & going to a concert by myself ✅
- graduated college ✅
- getting covid for the 1st time ✅😅

moved back home and now in this new chapter of the post-grad life and self discovery. the adjustment has not been easy but i’m manifesting that it will work itself out in 2023 🤍🫶🏼

this is your reminder to say “yes” and do things that will make you happy (: cheers to the new year 🥂 by @christinakirchnerr

one thing school forgot to teach me is how to stop procrastinating because these grad pictures are long overdue 😅

4 years ago I made the decision to go out of my comfort zone and move to a different state for college. I chose SDSU and I’ll admit that it was a rough change at first, being in a new place and because I was far from family, it felt very lonely and was really close to transferring home, but I gave it a second try during my 2nd semester and luckily made it a second home.

This transition to SDSU was not like any other move that I faced as a military kid growing up, this was much bigger. I was ready for the challenge and in four short years, I have found my home away from home, connected with great new friends (with the help of an amazing organization called Alpha Phi Omega), and even reunited with some old friends from Japan.

Moving to San Diego really tested me on my limits of being independent and learning how to be my biggest supporter/motivator because in the end, I made the decision to stay, to join an APO, to put myself out there, and to make the most of my 4 years there…and I’m so thankful that I did.

So, thank you SDSU for the past 4 years. I definitely miss the company more than I miss the academics lol, but I’ll be back in San Diego soon enough…just don’t know when yet 😅

s/o to all my friends and family that supported me throughout these college years and thanks for helping me grow into the person I am today bc this experience wouldn’t have been as enjoyable without you (:

📸 s/o to one of my best friends/roommate @brethatsmee for taking these amazing pictures (if ya in SD & need someone to take your grad pics, hit her up!)
