This year @misssees and I became mothers to our mom as she approaches the end of her life. Some days we're dealing with a newborn unable to open her eyes or swallow. Other days we're sitting with a three-year-old eating finger foods, watching cartoons, playing with her toys, and babbling nonsensical stories about an imaginary life. The rest of the days I'm sitting at work watching her through a baby monitor to make sure she's doing okay. At night she regresses, not back to childhood, but to the adult life she's once known. Here we were 11 years ago today building our little venue that somehow lasted this long. In a couple weeks Victor is relaunching it in its latest version, the Victrola Theatre at Victor Soundworks.
