Who are you taking to see the wildest movie to ever exist!? Trailer dropping soon 👀 #zombieplane by @christine_milo
I don’t yet really have the words to completely express what last night meant to me. Reality hasn’t quite sunk in yet. 😅 Here Out West opened the Sydney Film Festival at the State Theatre last night. Seeing the film for the first time on the big screen in a full cinema was nerve wracking, exciting, surreal, and honestly, victorious. I’m so very proud to be part of this film. I knew Here Out West was going to be something special when I first read the script but to see those eight stories come together on screen was just magic. Thank you @vonnepat for Roxanne’s beautiful story and @juliekalceff for your incredible and generous direction of “The Long Shift”. This was a part I didn’t even know I could dare to dream of playing as a Filipino actor in Australia. Thank you to @screenaustralia @cocurious @_emerald_productions for believing in films like Here Out West and of course, @sydfilmfest for giving us the honour of opening the festival. To the cast and crew, I celebrate each and every one of you. It’s a privilege to share this unique experience with you all. To all of my support system, my friends and family that I’m so grateful and lucky to have. It’s taken years and years to get to this point and I wouldn’t be here without you. Thanks for keeping me going and pushing me forward. All of the heartache, dreaming and scheming culminated in last night’s whirlwind and I keep pinching myself because it doesn’t feel real. Luckily I have photos to prove it happened. Big thank you to @alexandragrahamprofessional & @annabelfalco who styled me for the big night.
