I remember when we lived in California and I had kids that weren’t in school yet and my mom friends that did have kids in school @joannkclark and @erin.bonenfant would go ghost during the school year… and they’d say something like “ talk to you in the summer “ and now I get it. I really get it 😅 (MISS YOU GUYS 😭) keeping up with everything feels impossible sometimes - thankful for friends that get it and never take it personally 🫶🏼 by @christinemrop

Sometimes the Lord brings me back here to remind me of just how faithful He is.

This specific day I remember praying “ God, I’m tired of praying this prayer. I’m tired of praying for healing. I’m just tired. “

I wish I could go back and tell myself all of the ways God was going to use my suffering for His glory and my good, but that’s not how faith works. I had no idea what our life was going to look like, I had no idea if Graham was going to suffer forever or if we’d spend countless nights in the hospital for the rest of our lives. I had no idea, but God did. I had no idea that He would use this as a way to move closer to my parents when my mom had a brain tumor, but God did. I had no idea that I would get to drop my perfectly healthy 5 year old off a Kindergarten yesterday, but God did.

That’s the beautiful thing about having Faith, you have no idea how it’s going to turn out, but you can know and rest that He’s working it all out for your good and His Glory. We need God, there’s no question about it. If I had known what was going to happen and how it was going to work out, I wouldn’t have needed Him as desperately as I did. He was the only hope I had to hold onto and my greatest source of peace. May you rest in His faithfulness today and find peace in Him.

God you get all the glory.

Somehow it’s been 8 Junes since I had you 🥹 Happy 8th birthday to my sweet, ocean loving, soccer star, tenderhearted Carson 🩵 you’ve changed our lives for the better and I’m so honored to be your mom. I’m always in awe of your kindness and the way you pay attention to others. You are the greatest friend and the biggest math genius! The way your brain works amazes me and I’m beyond proud of you. A weekend worth sharing 🥰

Hard to believe how far we’ve come since we moved to Georgia, but praising God for His faithfulness and the friends that have turned into family. A forever reminder that His plan is far better than my own plans - even when I don’t always see it 🫶🏼

I love how this turned out! I feel like my shells and sand always just stay in a jar somewhere and this is a great way to display them with the pictures you took where you found them :) a great memory keepsake 🤍

I’ve linked the supplies I used in my LTK! You could always buy seashells if you haven’t gone to the beach to collect them either!
