Thrips are the worst!!

Here are 5 simple steps to rid them quickly:
1. Isolate plant immediately to prevent from spreading to other plants.
2. Remove top inch of soil where eggs may have potentially been laid.
3. Sprinkle systemic house plant insect control granules on the top layer of dirt.
4. Water thoroughly.
5. Spray leaves thoroughly with insecticidal soap. Make sure to repeat this 2 to 3 times per week until thrips are no longer present.

Thrips eggs hatch every 2 to 7 days. So make sure your plant is fully clean of thrips before returning to its usual spot.

It was a scalp reset kind of morning. After being gone all weekend I could tell I had lots of buildup on my scalp from harder water.

My favorite way to help my scalp when there is extra buildup is to start with an oil treatment the night before. This morning I used a clarifying shampoo - the Purifying Vinegar shampoo (Black shampoo is another great option). For my second wash I used the Scalp Scrub and conditioned with the Intense Repair Conditioner. 🙌

I literally used to wash my hair every single day because it was so greasy and full of product buildup. I never understood how people could go more than a day without washing. I just assumed it was my hair and it wouldn’t change.

And then I switched to cleaner products and my scalp became significantly less oily and the buildup was gone. It’s not your hair, it’s your products.

How long can you go between washes?
