I wrote and produced this song pretty recently. I've noticed I've been trying to fit into this box of what other people think I should be or sound like or present as...the list goes on.

And I've struggled with this for a while but I noticed it happening with my music..

This song feels like a breath of fresh air for me. A little reclamation of agency. And that's pretty cool!

----------backstory, if you'd like to read----------

Around this time last year, I was going live on TikTok and producing/sharing my music for fun. I connected with a dope producer named Lucas! We shared a lot in common and he helped ignite my spark.

Fast forward to November 2025, I met Lucas and he played this for me right off a 4 hr drive to Rhode Island (I got lost lol). So I was tired but this spoke to me and this is what came of that night.

This song was shared with a special individual who is no longer here with us and so I'm honored to share this song and keep their memory alive. I won't say too much out of respect for the family but I hope this song about unconditional love can speak to you.

Time, I do believe, is constructed asl but I enjoy the part where we reflect on how the time affected us and our change. So here goes:

A carousel post couldn't come close to displaying what this year did for my growth. I explored what lay dormant for some time now and embraced the fact that I can't be put in a box!! I remembered parts of myself that I will cherish forever and what an invaluable gift. I also gave myself permission to be experienced by other people and to experience some amazing folks myself. And what an incredible year for music too!!! I have songs out yo... that's just too cool to me. XD

May God continue to unlock all my potential and show us His strength is made perfect in our weakness.

Thankful for everyone who showed me love, taught me something new, shared space with me. 💛

To more whimsical, magical, spontaneous, soul-enriching experiences. Happy new year! I love you.

'Never Know' is a piece I wrote envisioning my higher self speaking to me through song. It was during a time where I felt really lost about my art and why I create. It's a reminder to trust yourself and in the desires of your heart. Take each step with faith even when the path isn't clear or you're having to carve it out yourself.

I think it's really important not to over identify with what we love. We are more than our gifts or our dreams or our relationships. As long as we can make that commitment to ourselves to never give up on us, we can live with purpose and the room to evolve!
