And finally – the turkey. For most, this is the centrepiece of the traditional Christmas roast. And it provides annual, festive family debates on cooking schedules, oven space and trying to find that rogue sewing needle used once a year to sew up its bum (or neck?)! And obviously, the turkey is at its most glorious the following day – between two slices of bread, any left over veg, stuffing and chutney/ cranberry sauce (and even a little bit of bread sauce?). This is our hero bauble and we have been so overwhelmed with how many of you crazy people want it on your tree. by @christmasdinnerz

The best mince pies are the deepest ones, with a generous filling of mincemeat - delicious dried fruits and spices, best served warm with a dollop of cream (or brandy butter??!!). I recently have become obsessed with frangipane mince pies that might offend some traditionalists! They are so creamy and vanilliary.. I highly recommend. by @christmasdinnerz

The most gorgy highly processed Christmas dinner special – a pig in a blanket. We have had the most lewd comments about our pigs in a blanket and we think this is more of a reflection on you!! You filthy animals! This unintentional risqué little bauble was a must have to complete the traditional Christmas Dinner set. by @christmasdinnerz
