From A Boy To A Young Man🥺💙

As we enter this 8th grade year as a dad I’m overly proud of this young-man. Since elementary school you have always handled business & lead by example. Middle school came into play and you picked up where you left off leading and building foundation for YOUR future. Yesterday was one of those full-circle days for me.

I met Leilani when she was my kindergarten student, and somewhere along the way, our bond grew into something much bigger. I became her Godmom.

Now she’s almost 10, and watching her grow into such a smart, confident, mature little girl has me in awe.

She has a loving two-parent home, but what stands out to me most is that she has a SECURE mama. A mom who creates space for her to be heard, loved, supported, and fully herself.

And girl…while I thought I was just taking my goddaughter out to have some fun, I realized I was healing little Amanda too.

Laughing. Being silly. Making memories. Letting a little girl simply enjoy being a little girl.

Sometimes healing your inner child looks like giving the children you love experiences you wish you’d had—and allowing yourself to enjoy them right alongside them.

Yesterday was for Leilani… but a little bit of it was for me too. 🥹🩷

That’s becoming SECURE.
