The original Bern’s Steakhouse bar had something the renovation can’t quite recreate: character.
Dark wood. Red carpet. Low light. A little medieval mystery.

Maybe the new bar is beautiful. But for me?

The original was better.

A night out at Union New American in Tampa ✨

I'm always impressed here, with great company, and a cocktail worth mentioning. I tried the Veracruz—one of the current cocktail specials—made with Ron Zacapa, pineapple, coconut, cinnamon and vanilla. Reminds me of a piña colada on the rocks. 🍹

Definitely one to try while it’s still on the menu.
