Do we know anybody in #utahgram?

A non-comprehensive #ᴘʜᴏᴛᴏᴅᴜᴍᴘ of friendship on our tour across the northeast quadrant of these United States of America!

1) my dear friend @feelouttheshapes, rehearsing some #overtherhine with me in the parking lot of @northsidetav #cincinnatiohio, just a few miles from @bogartsshows where we used to go see @overtherhinemusic 25 years ago, captured by Kim’s husband and my pal @coquelicot.etco. The two of them spent most of the pst two decades in Paris, France, and I’m delighted to have them back stateside.

2) taking the fun very seriously @fredfestva, as documented by @bobadamek

3) listening to my bud @gillsounds playing @melodyinn_ with me for what has to be at least the third time since he went home to #indianapolisindiana from his very eventful sublease on Iredell Street and stint as our drummer in Durham way back in 2012

4) The Fred Himself, putting The Fred in FredFest, with me + @christopher_arnet, another one from Bob Adamcek

7) another angle of me & Kim, it was just that special

8) the last of five days/nights as a power trio w/ Nathan Miller at Northside Tavern, 📸 @abeslincolnband. That last set on Friday @mcfleshmans for @mileofmusicfest has to be one of my top 5 all-time performing experiences; thanks to all you Milers who crammed into that courtyard, even those kids who climbed on the roof!

Here we go! Our busy summer and fall touring season kicks off at home this week!

Thursday 6/6 at 7pm @southernvillage (done by 9pm, in time to watch the second half of the @celtics in the #nbafinals2024 🍀🍻) #chapelhill

Friday 6/7 at 6pm @rockymountmills #rockymountnc

Friday 6/14 at 5:30pm @boxyardrtp #coversongs #singalong w/ @songsforhumans_durham @sonicpieproductions

Saturday 6/15 at 2pm @sierranevadanc #ashevillenc

Our summer touring is built around some brilliant highlights!

On Wednesday 6/19 we’ll be @amp_wis in #tomahwisconsin, on what happens to be #juneteenth2024. It’ll be a great honor and responsibility to play some of our #blackhistory songs like #thekingslaststand and #wigginsspecial and our cover of #curtismayfield, to mark the day in some small way

On Thursday, 6/20 we’ll be at Century School Park in #veronawi, hosted by @veronachamberofcommerce

On Friday, 6/21 I’m so stoked to go back to #appletonwisconsin to play @foxriverhouse1870! We’ll be back there again Aug 1-2 to play @mileofmusicfest. It’s such a huge honor to be welcomed into that community.

On Saturday 6/22 we’ll headline @mankatosolstice in #mankatomn !!!

On Thursday 6/27 we’ll be @gpacindyparks, another wonderful outdoor music series, this one in #indianapolisindiana

We’ll finish our June touring on 6/28 @eclipsebeerhall in #athensohio w/ @meganbeemusic; 6/29 @pieshopdc #washingtondc w/ @thebeanstalklibrary + @lena.traynham; 6/30 @gettightlounge #richmondva w/ @leslieandthedots + #mackenzieroark

We’ll kick off our July touring @gashilldrinkingroom #winstonsalem + @prorenatabrewery #crozetva w/ @pinkbedsmusic on the way up to @fredfestva w/ @amythystkiah, @boynamedbanjo and so many great artists! (@mattedgrass also at Gas Hill!)
