@seanscullystudio first came to my attention in 1997 when I was in Amsterdam. I brought home a postcard that I have looked at for thirty years, and it still lives on my studio wall. That one picture quietly unknitted then reformed the way I thought about abstract painting, how deeply human it is, and how extraordinarily powerful it can be in the hands of a master like him. by @christopherjamespainter

I’m not sure how I missed the publication of this in November, as I have my ear to ground when it comes to all things Francis, or so I thought. It’s 568 pages of unfettered @francisbaconartist; his complete works. A junior version of the catalogue raisonné, or rather a companion book, which currently retails for a little over £1000.
