Romy & Josh’s Engagement photos (part 1)

For the longest time I’ve wanted to capture photos like this in a movie theatre.

Read on if you wanna hear me nerd out a bit…

I remember the first time I saw ‘500 Days Of Summer’ and I fell in love with the way Eric Steelberg & Marc Webb used ordinary places to capture romance in such an original way (atleast it was the first time I had seen it properly). The movie theatre scene was a favourite and I’ve seen dozens of Romance’s do it since. It’s fitting. A lot of us had our first dates at the movies.

Anyway - what a privilege!

Thank you @romy_mali & @joshua.blair7 for trusting me to capture these for you! 🤍🤍

More to come!

It was an honour flying to Melbourne to capture Kelvin proposing to Sarah! I spent 2 hours pretending to be their ‘private driver’ as we trekked out into rural Victoria to make Kelvin’s vision come to life!

I can’t believe I get be apart of moments and plans like this. So grateful!!

Thank you Shiraz Republic (@canolawalk) for making this place exist.
