I’m honored to be named to the Forbes 2026 Best‑In‑State Financial Security Professionals list.

This recognition reflects the trust our clients place in our team and the relationships we’ve built together. Financial security is about more than numbers — it’s about protecting what matters most, creating clarity, and helping individuals, families, and business owners build the lives they envision.

Thank you to our clients for your continued confidence, to my team at Lucerna Financial Group and Northwestern Mutual for your support, and to everyone who has been part of this journey. Special thanks to Alex Stauber for the late nights and early mornings you put in to ensure our clients are always taken care of.

I’m excited to keep raising the standard and supporting our community as they pursue financial security for generations to come.

Congratulations to all of this year’s honorees.

Last month, we wrapped up our firm’s awards year, and I’m grateful for the opportunity we had to grow and support so many clients over the past 12 months.

My financial planning practice led the San Antonio and Austin area in lives impacted, new clients onboarded, and we qualified for the esteemed Lives Leader Summit for the first time in my career.

Being able to help so many inspiring clients day in and day out keeps me and the team behind me going.

None of this would’ve happened without the support of Alex Stauber, whose commitment to our clients continues to raise the bar. His dedication to providing an unparalleled experience for our clients is a major reason for the success and our growth.

But as a wise man once said, no one reads yesterday’s newspaper...so we’re already focused on what’s next.

Looking ahead, we’re excited to keep building. We’ve just welcomed Greg to the team, and his experience will help us continue delivering high-quality planning and services to clients across the country.

Super excited for the next 12 months and learning lessons along the way! by @christopherradlifflfg

Allow us to formally reintroduce ourselves, as Lucerna Financial Group!

Why the name Lucerna Financial Group?

Lucerna means light in Latin. It is associated with illumination, enlightenment, guidance, and hope.

At the Lucerna Financial Group, we want to be the guiding light for our clients to arrive well positioned to achieve their goals and dreams.

We will continue our partnership with Northwestern Mutual, giving our team access to world-class resources, technology, and planning strategies for clients facing even the most complex planning needs.

For our existing client's nothing will change for you!

Alex Stauber and I have had many late night calls discussing our vision on how to create a practice that serves clients for generations to come at the highest level imaginable.

We found one key factor to building a multi-generational practice is partnering with other advisors that have the same passion to serve clients like we do.

When thinking of other high performing advisors that share that same passion, Meghan Kocjan was someone we knew had that commonality.

After much thought, conversation, and strategic planning we decided to partner together towards the common vision for the future!

If you want to go fast, go alone; if you want to go far, go together.

Greg, Alex, Meghan, and I are excited for the future because it will be BRIGHT!!!!

If you are out there wondering what to do with your finances, reach out to our team because the time is now.

More updates to come on our website over the coming weeks.

Let's go!!!

Annual Meeting was a great reminder that excellence is a choice and that every day we get the opportunity to choose to be ELITE.

Grateful for the opportunity to spend time with my study group, strengthen relationships with our team, learn from some of the best leaders in the industry, and share the vision for what we’re building in San Antonio with Northwestern Mutual’s CEO Tim Gerend.

One of the highlights of the week was being invited on stage as our team was recognized with the Recruiting Team of the Year award for category 4. It was a proud moment and a reflection of the people, culture, and commitment we’re building together.

Leaving Milwaukee inspired, energized, and excited for what’s ahead.

Looking forward to bringing these lessons home, continuing to choose to be elite, and helping our team reach even greater heights.

A year and a half ago, I took a chance on myself.

I packed up my life in New York and moved to San Antonio without knowing exactly how everything would unfold.

I left behind familiarity, comfort, and a path that would have been easier to stay on.

There were moments where people questioned the decision.

Moments when relationships changed.

Moments that tested my confidence and made me wonder if I was making the right bet.

But growth rarely happens inside your comfort zone.

Today, I’m incredibly honored to share that I’ve been appointed as the Managing Director of our Alamo Heights office.

More importantly, I’m proud of what we’ve building with Northwestern Mutual and at Lucerna Financial Group. A team committed to serving clients with excellence, developing outstanding advisors, and creating a culture centered on integrity, growth, and doing the right thing.

This milestone isn’t an ending—it’s just the beginning.

To everyone who believed in me, challenged me, mentored me, trusted me, or took a chance on our vision: thank you. You know who you are.

And to anyone considering betting on themselves: there will always be uncertainty. There will always be people who don’t understand your vision.

Keep going anyway.

The best chapters are often written after the hardest decisions.

Here’s to building something that lasts and leaves a lasting legacy of impact on our San Antonio community! by @christopherradlifflfg

What impressed me most wasn’t who won.

It was what it took to get there.

During this year’s playoff run, I had the chance to experience the atmosphere around Spurs basketball in San Antonio—including watching my childhood team, the Knicks, compete in the NBA Finals.

Growing up in New York, I’ll always have a soft spot for the Knicks.

But after living in San Antonio, it’s easy to understand why the Spurs organization has earned so much respect.

Watching the city rally behind its team reminded me of something that’s true in both sports and business:

- Championship organizations don’t just recruit great talent.
- They build great cultures.
- They create an environment where talented people become even better.
- High standards.
- Accountability.
- Trust.
- A shared mission that’s bigger than any one individual.

As I’ve continued building Lucerna Financial Group here in San Antonio, that’s become one of my biggest goals.

Not just to build a successful financial planning firm.

To build a team that’s known for developing exceptional people, serving clients at the highest level, and constantly raising the standard.

Moving to San Antonio has been one of the best decisions I’ve made.

This city has challenged me, welcomed me, and inspired me to think bigger.

The Spurs have shown that sustained success isn’t about one superstar.

It’s about building the right team.

That’s exactly what we’re working to do.

I’m grateful to be building it here in San Antonio, and I truly believe the best is ahead!

A little overdue, but I wanted to share one of the highlights from my birthday and Mother’s Day weekend with my parents on the San Antonio River Walk.

As life gets busier and goals get bigger, it becomes even more important to stay connected to the people and moments that actually matter.

It’s easy to get caught up in:

• building careers
• growing businesses
• chasing the next milestone
• constantly thinking about the future

But weekends like this are a reminder of what the work is really for.

One thing we believe deeply at Lucerna Financial Group is that wealth should create:
• more freedom
• more presence
• more meaningful time with the people you care about most

Very grateful for another year, for family, and for the opportunity to continue building life intentionally.

Hope everyone had a great Mother’s Day weekend. by @christopherradlifflfg

I recently attended Northwestern Mutual’s Lives Leader Summit in Nashville—an event for which only 2.47% of teams on NM’s platform qualified.

I’m grateful for the experience and the perspective it provided.

A few key ideas that resonated with me:

- Strategic allocation is not static: Different assets behave differently every day, and that’s by design.

- A simple insight from BlackRock: You win more by losing less.

-As income grows, planning must become more intentional—especially around timing, such as vesting, bonuses, and liquidity events.

- Scale changes everything: NM deploys ~$2.5–3.5B into its general account each month, creating unique value in the safer dollar space.

Operationally, I noticed:

- The best advisors protect their time and consistently operate in their “sweet spot.”

- They’re selective about who they work with—and about how those relationships start.

- Many are investing in more intentional onboarding processes to ensure real client buy-in from day one.

A question I’ve been reflecting on:

What would your week look like if every meeting was exactly where you add the most value?

At Lucerna Financial Group, that’s the direction we’re refining—more focus, more intention, and better alignment for the people we serve.

I appreciated the conversations and look forward to applying these insights.

Side note:

We were fortunate to attend events at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Friends in Low Places—an incredible way to experience Nashville.

A special thank you to the home office for hosting such a great event! by @christopherradlifflfg

Many tech professionals believe their RSUs will be their golden ticket.

“They’re basically a bonus… but better.”

Not exactly.

Here’s the trap no one explains:

Every time your RSUs vest, you’re getting paid… and immediately reinvesting it back into the same company.

Let that sink in.

If you wouldn’t take your cash bonus and put 100% of it into your employer’s stock… why are you doing it with RSUs?

I see this all the time with high-income professionals:

• $300k-600k+ comp
• Strong savers
• Smart, analytical thinkers

…but 40–70% of their net worth is tied to one company.

Your income already depends on your employer.

Your career growth depends on your employer.

Now your wealth does too.

That’s not investing.

That’s concentration risk.

The goal isn’t to avoid RSUs.

They’re an incredible wealth-building tool when used correctly.

The goal is to:

• Understand the tax implications at vest
• Build a strategy around selling (not guessing)
• Reinvest into a diversified portfolio aligned with your long-term plan

The highest performers I work with don’t leave this to chance.

They treat RSUs like a system, not a surprise.

Because real wealth isn’t built by what you earn, it’s built by what you keep and how you allocate it.

Don't fall victim to overconfidence in your company.

If you’re sitting on a large RSU position and not sure what to do next,

Most Big 4 and tech professionals are doing everything “right”…

	- High income
	- Maxing out their retirement plans
	- Building equity or profit sharing in their organization
	- Investing outside of work

So why does it still feel like you’re behind?

Because no one ever shows you how it all fits together.

Instead, it looks like this:

	- Accounts scattered across platforms
	- RSUs piling up with no real strategy
	- Taxes taking a bigger bite every year
	- No clear answer to “when is enough… enough?”

This isn’t a discipline problem.

It’s a clarity problem.

You're busy with work.

After work you are dragged in multiple different directions.

Clarity is hard to come by.

After working with hundreds of high-income professionals, I’ve learned:

The difference between feeling stuck and feeling in control

…is having a cohesive plan.

Question for you to reflect on:

Do you feel like your financial life is coordinated—or just “set up”?

Our team at Lucerna Financial Group had a great time at Northwestern Mutual South Central Texas's recognition dinner.

It was great to spend time together celebrating all the wins and learning experiences we had in 2025.

I am extremely grateful for our hardworking team and all they do to help us serve our clients well.

NM SCT was the only office across the NM system to see positive growth in EVERY performance category in 2025.

But as a wise man once said, no one reads yesterday's newspaper.. onto 2026!

In 2026, we are focused on raising our client experience and client impact to the next level!
