Amaia is four! And as you can see it was a K-pop demon hunter birthday. She’s never not in character down to the toes… she COMMITS. She insisted on “performing” two songs at her preschool class party for her birthday. She’s fierce and funny and kind and brilliant and brave and sensitive and every day I’m just in awe of her. She wants to be an actress and an astronaut and a real princess and a ballerina and who am I to say she can’t be any / all of that! Thank you to all her made her feel so special from near and far. My sweet Seba turned 2 last week and we had the cutest 🦋-themed celebration (pronounced “buhduhduh” or “buhduhbye”). He loved it all and I can confidently his amazing birthday party at his favorite place @artstrongnyc was the best day of his little life so far. The best fucking time with the best fucking people. So immensely proud of @societytheatreco as we just closed our new play ENTANGLED: 12 Scenes in a Circle K off the I-40 in New Mexico after 2.5 years of discussions, research, presentations, meetings, workshops, improv, fundraisers, rehearsals, all as part of our wonderful weird amazing joint stock process. THANK YOU to the incredible community who have supported us and showed up for us throughout this ride. So tired so happy. Now to start the next one?!
