PORT OF SOLITUDE by Christy Dimitriadou @christy_di | Exhibition opening, Tuesday 30 June at The Modernist Gallery.

The port is a place of movement.
Yet it is also a place of pause.

In Port of Solitude, Christy Dimitriadou turns her lens towards the port of Thessaloniki, capturing quiet moments that often go unnoticed.

Working with unstaged photography, Dimitriadou explores solitude as a way of observing and connecting.
In the exhibition, curated by @thegreekfoundation, the port becomes more than a physical location. It becomes a landscape of reflection, where light, time, and human presence come together, revealing the quiet beauty of everyday life.

About the Artist
Christy Dimitriadou is a photographer based in Thessaloniki.
Her relationship with photography began through her father's analog cameras and evolved into an ongoing exploration of observation, memory, and human presence. Through her work, she seeks to capture fleeting moments that reveal the emotional depth hidden within everyday life. taken in The Modernist Thessaloniki by @christy_di
