This month we are doing 31 days of kindness in memory of Jordan who had the absolute kindest heart. I haven’t shared a lot of mine publicly but God encouraged me to share this one.

Earlier I placed a Wal-Mart delivery order for supplies to make my famous banana pudding for a football party Andrew wanted me to go to tonight. As it kept getting later and later and my order hadn’t arrived, I started to get nervous so I jumped in my car, wet hair and all, and ran to Food World to grab supplies.

When I walked up, I saw 2 gentleman with a table set up outside the entrance selling homemade candles and soaps. Normally when I’m in this big of a hurry, I keep walking but God said Stop so I did. These guys were from Teen Challenge in Dublin. For those that aren’t familiar, it’s a rehab facility. I told them I would see them on my way out.

After running through the store grabbing supplies like a mad woman on a time schedule, I stopped back by and bought a candle, donated extra for them to give a candle or 2 away to someone having a bad day, and most importantly shared my sweet boy’s story. They were extremely kind and thanked me.

I couldn’t let today go by without wishing Stephanie Richardson a very Happy Birthday! I’m so thankful for you today and every day! You have been there for me not only during all the fun adventures but also during my absolute lowest and weakest moments. I love you so much and can’t imagine life without you.

We get asked often if we’re sisters and we’ve just started telling everyone yes because we might as well be. Where you see one, the other isn’t too far behind. And if they are, there’s a dang good reason 🤣

Bart and I are honored that tomorrow night Leigh-Anne White & Co. will be dedicating their Club House in memory of Jordan.
They will also be doing a candlelight vigil at the end of the night to honor all those who have lost their lives to overdose/fentanyl poisoning.

This hands-on activity is designed to spark conversation, creativity, and connection while honoring those impacted by substance use and celebrating the power of recovery. No artistic experience needed — all materials provided!
