TieTie Tee 2026 🫖
A full-circle kind of day 🥹🤍

Last year, I walked into TieTie Tee for the first time with my mom, not knowing what to expect. I was nervous, overwhelmed and carrying a lot of emotions - but I left with a heart full of peace.

This year, I had the privilege of standing on the other side and sharing my story: at 22, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. My whole world changed overnight. The plans I had made for my life suddenly felt completely out of my control.
But that became one of the biggest lessons of my journey:
Out of my control does not mean out of His control. ⛵️⛈️

Today, I got to speak about my storm, my faith, the people God placed around me, and the journey that brought me to where I am today - cancer-free, growing my hair back, playing the sport I love and, most importantly, still trusting God with whatever comes next.

This year’s theme was STORM ⛈️ and I couldn’t think of a more fitting theme. Because sometimes the storm doesn’t immediately disappear. Sometimes God simply reminds you that you’re not in the boat alone.

Thank you, TieTie Tee, for giving me the opportunity to share a little piece of my story. 🤍🥰

And to everyone who listened, laughed, cried and shared this special afternoon with me - thank you for allowing me to be vulnerable and for making me feel so welcomed.

See you next year! 🥹✨🫶🏼 by @chrizeboonzaier

CHAMPIONS 🥇🤩🏆✨

If there was one tour that sparked the flame again - it was this one. 🥹🔥 Oh, how I love this sport!

If you know me, you’ll know how hard I am on myself. After my cancer diagnosis last year, I honestly didn’t think outdoor netball would be on the table for me anymore.

But today? Cancer-free. A gold medal around my neck. A few tears in my eyes. And I can confidently say…

I’M BACK, BABY! 🫵🏼💥🥰

I know I still have a long way to go to get back everything I’ve lost, but the hard work feels like nothing when you love this sport as much as I do.

Thank you to this incredible team for reigniting that fire in me and reminding me just how much I love this game. ❤️

And to everyone who came out to support me - thank you! 🥹 The love and support throughout this tour was absolutely incredible, and I don’t think you realise just how much it meant to me. ❤️‍🩹

Most importantly, all glory to God for allowing me to play the sport I love again. 🙏🏼❤️ He carries me through, keeps me safe and injury-free, and He gives me the strength to be out on that court. I could not have done this tour without Him.

Here’s to the comeback!!!! 😭🥂✨ by @chrizeboonzaier

The past two months, all put together in 16 little squares!
👩🏼‍❤️‍👨🏻🫶🏼🐾⛹🏼‍♀️⚡️💐🎨🥹⛳️🫰🏼🥇🥰🥂⚪️🏓🎀

God has been so incredibly good to me these past two months. I’ve seen His hand in so many of the little things, the big things, and everything in between ❤️

It’s also officially been one whole year of growing out my hair, which feels so surreal when I think about where I was a year ago - so sick, and now here I am 🥹

So grateful. So blessed. So much to celebrate.

Thank you God for keeping me safe, healthy & held through it all! by @chrizeboonzaier

The 6-month mark is here 📆, and if I’m being really honest, I’ve felt sick to my stomach every time I thought about this day.

I’ve had it in the back of my mind, but it only really started affecting me over the past three months. I started holding myself back from things like netball, running, going to the gym, seeing friends, and reaching out to people I miss… all because of the fear of cancer returning. Because then my life will feel like it’s at a stand still. Again.

I know this might be part of my reality for the rest of my life, and I know I’ll have to learn how to live with it. But I hate how heavy that feeling is. 🏋🏼‍♀️🫀

My mind keeps asking:
“Now that I’m off chemotherapy, will the cancer come back?”
“Can I truly continue with my life?”
“But what if…?”

And I know I might be over-sharing 🙈, but also know I can’t be the only one who feels like this.

I also know I should be grateful for my results, but something in me makes it hard to fully celebrate them. I keep it quiet… maybe guilt, maybe uncertainty.

How do you celebrate fully when others didn’t get the outcome you prayed for? 💔 The outcome they’re still praying for.
(😭 defs not crying while typing this)

Life is unfair.

I read a quote the other day that said, “The devil goes after the ones that have God, not the ones that don’t.” 🌟🌟 And maybe that’s why the good ones sometimes go through the hardest things.

I know my journey is far from perfect, and still only at the beginning.
🗺️🧭 I also know God is leading me into a life I never fully planned for.
And I will never question His plans for me.

⭐️ A year ago, I heard the words no one ever expects - especially at the age of 22 - “you have cancer”.

⭐️ This weekend, I crossed the finish line of my very first half marathon - the furthest I’ve ever run. 🏃🏼‍♀️

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
And somewhere between those two moments… everything changed.

This weekend, I ran for the girl I was a year ago. The girl that was scared, uncertain, and facing a battle she never saw coming.
I ran for the person I am today 🫀 - stronger, braver, and still standing.
I ran for everyone who is fighting this battle right now.
For those who have overcome it.
And for those who are no longer here. ‼️
I ran for my dad, who should have been waiting for me at that finish line. 🏁🥹

But most of all… I ran because I CAN.
Because a year ago, I couldn’t.

This wasn’t just a race.
It was proof !!!
Proof of resilience ⚡️ Proof of healing ⚡️ Proof that even in the hardest seasons, your story isn’t over ⚡️

21.1km & BREAST CANCER later… and I’m still here. 🥰
