Probably don’t know this about me but I have a deep seated fascination with spiritual mysticism(s).
Years and years I used to find fringe occult & rare esoteric texts & deep dive deeper meanings, philosophical inquiries, and explore different spiritual paths. I’ve explored many culturally rooted religious paths in my pursuit for meaning & never really opened up about it..
getting in touch with my roots & exploring what beauty I can articulate.
Firm believer there’s no one spiritual path above others in the pursuit of the divine, instead I’d offer you my understanding of an infinitely diverse trail with many intersections, obstacles, doors, crossroads, lessons or otherwise on your path.
Many roads, many heavens.
That’s a philosophical hill I’d defend with my life. by @chromatherial

Paying homage to a force of nature I’ve met many times in the depths of dreams.
Digital Rendering of what will be a much grander oil painting.
Feels good to create, and turning to page on a pretty big chapter of my life.

Looking back at my oceanic body of work & this fan favorite piece has been on my mind for the last few days.
This little turtle island lighthouse is 12x16” oils on canvas.
Hoping to be a beacon of light on a gloomy day.
Stay inspired ✌🏼 by @chromatherial

Realized I never posted this painting as a photo.
Looking back and taking a good hard look at all my creative strengths & weaknesses 🤌🏼✨ this year I’ve been focusing on improvement in all directions.
Got a lot of love for some more of the traditional surreal pieces I’ve done.
For those of you not aware, surrealism is defined by the Juxtaposition between the dreamlike & reality.
Lots of progress & work on the back end that’s not really “post worthy,”
New works on the horizon :)!
This painting is 12x12” oils on canvas titled “high tide,”

If I don’t chase my paint goblins away then they’ll be free to frolick through my palette of wet oil paint & leave little footprints throughout the house. 🐈‍⬛
This songs been stuck in my head,
And I’m honored to get to paint a memorial portrait of a family companion.
Happy to be back to work. Honored to trade art.
Thankful.
