New Rumi edit ✨️ I wanted to find a way to showcase this painting in its regular lighting and blacklight painting. Since this visual is taken from the scenes before "What It Sounds Like", I thought I'd pull inspiration from the lyrics "we broke into a million pieces, and we can't go back // but now we're seeing all the beauty in the broken glass" 💙❤️ by @chromaticlux

This Kpop-Demon Hunters inspired painting was so fun to make, and such a fun challenge. I had to create a painting that looked good in both regular lighting and under a blacklight. I absolutely love how it came out. Prints should be available soon, message me if you're interested in the original 💙

Some behind the scenes of my mural process! I always start with a rough digital drawing on my iPad before actually drawing on the walls. It's always so fun watching the flat cartoon drawing turn into the fully fleshed out painting. This mural took me about 2 weeks, with every painting session taking place after I worked a full shift at my day job or on weekends. The hardest part of this painting was 100% painting on the textured wall. If I never paint bead board again it'll be too soon 💙 by @chromaticlux

Mother/ Daughter Dinner date & tonight it was 🍕

We finally had to see what all the hype was about at Benny Ernesto’s in Moncks Corner… and I totally get why everyone has been raving about it!

One of my favorite things? You can grab pizza by the slice, which made it such an affordable dinner without sacrificing quality. 🍕

I also loved all of the local touches throughout the restaurant. The custom mural by @chromaticlux and the pizza peels hanging on the walls were all painted by Berkeley High School students, which makes the space feel even more connected to our community. ❤️

If you’re looking for a quieter spot, they also have a private outdoor dining area that’s perfect for date night or dinner with friends.

And if you’re ordering for the whole family… just wait until you see the size of their pizza boxes! 😂 Those pizzas are HUGE.

If you haven’t checked out Benny Ernesto’s yet, I’d definitely add it to your Moncks Corner must-try list!

Have you been? What’s your favorite pizza? 👇
