Graduation day🥳

First off, I’d like to thank everyone who voted for my nails for the nail art competition! It truly means so much and is such an honor to win it against other amazing nails. Everyone is so incredibly talented. I want to thank my classmates, it was such an amazing experience to share with y’all, and I learned so much from you guys. A huge shoutout goes to everyone at @academyofnail for providing such a great environment. Ms. Razo and Michelle are two of the best teachers that I’ve ever had out of all of my years in school. They believed in me even when I didn’t. I will treasure these last 14 weeks forever. I learned so much and it’s crazy what I can achieve when I put in the time, hard work, and dedication. I showed up on time for 70 days, and even on the days that I didn’t want to, was tired, in pain, grieving, sick (but not contagious), or depressed. I made a 40 minute drive 140 times with outrageous gas prices. I was even able to keep my part time job while in school. I put lots of time into studying, but it paid off. I averaged a 99% out of 11 tests, and 100% on the final. I had never touched acrylic or polygel before this, and now I can do full sets. I still have a lot to work on, but this gave me the foundation to do that. I could not have done this without my mom @such.shah. She is my biggest supporter and has done so much for me, making my breakfast every morning to go, letting me turn the guest room into my home nail studio, for being my model, helping me start my business, and for buying me supplies. I want to thank my brother for helping to build and move furniture to create my dream workspace, and to my dad for giving me a job for the past 5 years so that I had money to start my business. I can’t wait for the future and seeing where I’ll be and what I’ll accomplish. Next up is state boards🫣 by @chromaticnailss
