Recent crusty wheel set build for Drew’s ‘38U. Original hubs rebuilt, fresh buchanans spokes laced and trued up to some sweaty original Harley KH WM3 rims. DM for wheel build inquiries by @chromebackbone

Took a ride up to see my buddy Pat Foley and check out his freshly rebuilt ‘46 chopper. @wretched_hive introduced me to Pat a few years back. He’s 81 years old and had originally built this bike in 1973. Crashed it some years back and finally got it all rebuilt after many setbacks. Hey I even got him out on a ride! by @chromebackbone

Finished up this single stage black lacquer paint job for my bud Edd recently. I’m no pro painter nor do I aspire to be but I try and have fun with it once in a while. 7 coats of lacquer over red oxide then knocked down and polished back up then rubbed down again and slightly checked up here and there where the old sheet metal was asking for it. These will be for Edd’s ‘52 Panhead bob job he’s putting together. All original sheetmetal with a rare early 50’s springer equipped servicar front fender that’s been chopped and a police oil tank to get even weirder 👀 thanks for looking and thanks for the work Edd. by @chromebackbone

Put about 400 miles down this past week with 10 other good buds on old bikes. The ‘37 ULH had one small hiccup but didn’t skip a beat after that, I guess it was just being dramatic. San Diego - Julian - Borrego Springs - Salton Sea and back. What an amazing experience 💨💨 by @chromebackbone

💨SOLD💨 Beautifully original and correct Knucklehead / Big Twin Flathead Kelsey Hayes rim. Old chrome spokes and old chrome original star hub. Wheel is complete and ready to run and would be perfect on your period chopper. Thanks for Looking #chopperswapper by @chromebackbone

custom wheel build I made for Lee @vitzyboys for the front of his Born Free build this year. We sourced a 17” x 1.60” WM1 steel rim undrilled, had the good folks at @buchananspokes drill the rim and whip up some stainless spokes to lace it to a @mullinschaindrive spool hub. Sent the rim out to chrome and the spokes to get show polished and here it is all laced / trued up. It’s hard to capture how small and skinny this wheel is in a photo. Can’t wait to see your wild creation this next year at BF Lee 💪🏻 by @chromebackbone
