If you have adult kids, you know what it feels like when they’re all home 🥹. I had worked on a project yesterday and had to take so many takes, I used way too much serum in my hair 🤪. It was super straight and flat! I love these hair powders to give me back some grit and volume! Just use a little and rub in well. Have you ever tried them? Happy Friday lovelies ❤️

These are the basics. I would also add hot rollers, velcro rollers, crimper, waver, and hood dryer 😂 You don’t have to spend a lot of money to get good quality proper tools. My hair requires heat because it hates to be smooth . I usually always bend the ends. Of course, some days I do nothing but it’s so nice to have options . Are you a high maintenance styler or no fuss? I’m both 😊 Dm if you want to know some of the tools I used up to 8 hours a day that never failed me. Have fun with your hair lovelies. ❤️

Sometimes less is more. My curls love humidity 😊 Do yours? I used a heavy hair mask after washing and just this serum. I scrunched for volume and I was impressed. My curls dried soft and voluminous. I will link these in my Sephora Storefront (in bio) ❤️

Ironically, this was Scarlett Night on our cruise. The ship was decked out in red and all sailors were asked to wear red. Unintentionally, my skin also matched! I wore spf 50 but forgot to reapply 🙃 Luckily, I wore a hat and glasses although my chin got burned too. I did my makeup to kinda match that sunburt look. This look is actually a trend, the sunburnt look. 🤪 my hair and skin really loves this humid climate. Ill post the hair part next. I really had fun filming on the ship 🚢

I remember planning my life around my roots and booking appointments one year out for my clients, IYKYK 🤪 So glad not to worry about that anymore! This was the first day of my first cruise and it felt so surreal to get ready in the middle of the ocean 🥹 The weather was humid so I just wore my hair natural. As you can see my freckles are a little bit darker from two days in the ☀️ I like them so let them show through. Do your spots get darker with the sun?

My Sephora storefront is officially approved! ✨ I’m new at this and still learning as I go, but excited to share some of my fave beauty finds with you. Link is in my bio 🫶🏼 Happy Friday lovelies ❤️ https://sephora.com/creators/chromechick

Salty silvers ❤️ i sometimes want to bottle the ocean water because it gives the best texture. I often love the way my hair dries after the beach. This is how I style it. I thrifted this shirt that looks like a peice of art imo 😊 we tried @gloriaestefan Miami restaurant and loved it!! It’s called @havana1957latin ! Vibes, food, and music were awesome ❤️

I always try to protect my hair from too much sun. This is a simple way to get your ends protected until it’s time to go in the ocean. I absolutely love how salt water makes my hair texture. It’s the best curl enhancer IMO 😊Happy Friday lovelies ❤️

In that first video, I did not love it . I changed my mind every day. I just knew i didn’t want to be on that hamster wheel. It was such an obsession to cover it completely and at all times. It was exhausting! I still miss it sometimes but I also really love my natural color. I’ve grown accustomed to the brightness and lightness of it. I also really like that little bit of rebellion in daring to be grey 😂 if you don’t love it in the beginning, ignore your hair. Trust the process, it goes by fast actually and it will give you that time to adjust yourself. It’s true when they say that the only regret is not doing it sooner but like with everything, timing is key. My curls have changed so much too. Happy Monday lovelies. I thifted this 90s style jumpsuit that I wear on repeat. I usually top with a cute blazer and kitten heels. You will see it in a few other reels 😂 I have no problem rewearing or mixing all my stuff 😊

✨share with your besties who are thinking about it but scared they can’t wear it long or curly. Or are thinking it won’t go with dark eyebrows or olive skin 🫶🏼

I got a lot of DMs asking me to do this style again but closer. I forgot to turn on my light 🙃On days I wear no hair products, sometimes the next day my hair is too unruly to go out. I love to hide it with a hair accessory. I love how secure this little bun is. This is another one of my moms vintage scarfs I treasure 🥹 Let me know if this is slow and close enough 😊 Happy Sunday lovelies ❤️
