Hand painted Bleeding Hearts journal for the mum! 💗

(The first time I ever saw bleeding hearts my mom was planting them in our front yard. I was in absolute awe of their delicate and intricate beauty. My mom told me about how the flowers require special conditions like shade to survive. And that they are perennial flowers meaning the visible plant will die but roots stay alive allowing them to come back the next year. My mom has continued to impart this wisdom beyond just the flower. She’s taught me to have a big and caring heart for others. But also that I must take the time to be intentional and give my heart the care it needs to sustain and grow. She’s given me very strong roots that I can venture out from but I know I will always return to my loving foundation;). ) by @chromey.craft
