This beautiful song was requested by my dear friend @fightin4joy
I had never heard it before but quickly fell in love! I’m sorry it took me so long to get to this Joy and I hope you enjoy it, my friend! I also have a part 2 that I’m hoping to post tomorrow! 😉🫶🏻

Take a breath and rest in the knowledge that you are loved completely and unconditionally by the Light of the World! 💜🩷

“Jesus spoke to the people once more and said, “I am the light of the world. If you follow me, you won’t have to walk in darkness, because you will have the light that leads to life.”
‭‭John‬ ‭8‬:‭12‬ ‭NLT‬‬

“But let us who live in the light be clearheaded, protected by the armor of faith and love, and wearing as our helmet the confidence of our salvation.”
‭‭1 Thessalonians‬ ‭5‬:‭8‬ ‭NLT‬‬

“In a hundred years from now
I know without a doubt
They’ll all look back and wonder how
We made it all work out
Chances are we’ll go down in history
When they wanna see
How true love should be
They’ll just look at us”

These lyrics feel very fitting, not only for Adam and Persephone on their anniversary, but also for the production itself! The story that no studio, theater, or streaming platform believed in is now a global phenomenon that is bringing joy to innumerable people and literally making our lives better! I could not be prouder of this story’s success if it were my own creation!

From the bottom of this very proud Kickstarter backer’s heart thank you @sarah_m_eden @mainstaypro @jakestormoen @ryannrinabailey @pauldeden and all the rest of you incredible people for doing what many said was impossible, for the hours upon hours of hard work and dedication, and for putting your hearts and souls into blessing us with this cinematic masterpiece which has set the standard and is already a classic that will be continuing to impact people for generations to come!

And as always so much love to all the incredible friends I’m blessed to have met because of Seeking Persephone. You all bring me a ridiculous amount of joy, and my life is brighter because you’re a part of it! To quote Artemis “Thank you, thank you, thank you.” 💜🩷

Edenland, anyone? Yes, please! Sign. Me. Up. 🙌🏻🥰😍

And as for this reel, I said what I said. And before all the Firth fans come at me just know I’d have said the exact same thing even if Matthew had been Jane’s Darcy of choice! 😂🤣

Huge thanks to my dear friend @kimberly.snipes for coining the phrase Darcy who? 😉🫠🤣

Oh, and fun fact: did you know that Austenland was produced by Stephenie Meyer? Yes, THE Stephenie Meyer! 🧛🏻‍♂️🐺

When I decided to make a parallel edit of these two scenes I was not planning for it to turn into an SP/Back to the Future mashup, but what can I say? The song seemed to fit! 😂🤣
Side note: one of my favorite tiny details about the second scene is how perfectly Adam matches his pace to Persephone’s! 🫠🫠🫠 And though I didn’t include it in this edit, I love that right before that moment when he helps her stand he keeps at least one hand on her at all times until her arm is safely resting in his! 😍🥰

Just a little Lancaster family PSA because I wanted to answer this question I’ve been asked in a video since I thought someone else might be wondering about this.

Again I’m not in any way trying to shame anyone or call anyone out, I just wanted to set the record straight on this! Love y’all! 💜🩷And I’m by no means an expert, but I have read the entire Lancaster/Jonquil series so if you ever have questions fire away. If I don’t know the answer I bet I know someone who does!

Oh my word, what incredible stories these are!
I’ll be honest, this series is SO far outside my comfort zone that, if it weren’t for the author and narrator being who they are, it’s very likely that I would not have ever actually given it a go! I had listened to book one several months ago before getting thoroughly distracted by the Lancaster/Jonquil series, but over the past week I binge listened to books 2-5 and am now officially and completely OBSESSED! The first two books thoroughly entertained and intrigued me, and then I started book three, became hooked almost instantly and there was no turning back! Each book has made me smile, laugh out loud, and kept me on the edge of my seat. I was already well aware that @sarah_m_eden is a literary genius, but wowzers she’s outdone herself! Each book turned up the tension and danger like a spark that grew into a flame which is now a raging fire threatening to obliterate everything we hold dear. And after the cruel and torturous cliffhanger ending of Written in Red I’m literally not sure how I’m going to survive the next month until book 6 releases!

I’m pretty sure you all are already aware that I am a huge fan of the amazingness that is @jakestormoen
Well, I seriously did not think I could be any more in awe of his incredible talent, I was wrong!
I’m a huge audiobook lover (and they absolutely count as reading, do not listen to anyone who tries to tell you otherwise!) and I can now officially say that Jake is my all-time favorite narrator. This is a series that MUST be experienced in audio, Jake literally does approximately 20+ unique voices, transitions between the different characters flawlessly, and somehow even manages to perfectly NAIL all of the female voices—my jaw is on the floor because honestly every other male narrator who has attempted such a thing has never before succeeded in doing anything other than making me cringe—and my mind is well and truly blown! 🤯 Jake, how in the world do you DO all of this so perfectly? And could you pretty please narrate every audiobook I ever listen to from now on? Thank you in advance!

I love this song and it plays during the end credits of one of my favorite romcoms. Do you know which one? (hint: Toe pick! IYKYK😉 and it may have been directed by someone who was well known for playing a title character in a buddy cop show…) Anyway I was watching said romcom one day when it struck me that this song could work for Adam and Persephone, and the rest is history! 🫠😍🥰

Yes, the ending is a bit “ridiculous” but I hope it gave you a laugh! 😂🤣

I made this one months ago and it’s been languishing in my drafts (I have a bad habit of creating things, getting all excited about them, and then not actually posting them! 🤦‍♀️)

Umm, @jakestormoen, the female population of this fandom is currently deceased. Cause of death: swooning. Just thought you should know! 😉🤭🔥🔥🔥🫠🫠🫠
