Her music journey began in band class, playing everything from piccolo to contrabass clarinet and singing the national anthem at school. At 15, she wanted to be a hip hop producer, but life in the lower middle class had other plans. Patterns spiraled. She navigated the system. Music felt like an unattainable distant dream.In 2022, after dismantling years of systemic conditioning and with over 15 years of close ties to the music industry, she began her journey into DJing and production. Didn’t think I’d be playing very many shows this summer, let alone Jungle Cruise. wtf. I don’t think I’m ever gonna get over this booking. Last year was pure magic. I cannot describe to you the exhilarating feeling of boating under both the golden gate and bay bridge, past alcatraz, along the skyline, during the day, sunset and at night while being immersed in jungle music.
