AU in which Princess!Hermione rarely sees anyone besides her parents (clearly) and no longer notices the various knights assigned to protect her—until one of them gets assassinated and replaced by the killer himself, who impersonates him.

Let me introduce you to this short fic I’m currently writing...(it’s not out yet)

SUMMARY:

Every time she passes him in the Ministry corridors, Hermione knows precisely what to do: flip her hair. Show off her throat. Make herself desirable to him—however much the very idea repulses her.

All it will take is one attack, one violation of her person, the slightest misstep, and she’ll finally be able to expose him.

Surely, by virtue of his unmistakable vampirism, Malfoy will put an end to her torment and yield to his base, supernatural urges…

It’s not that Draco is insensitive to Granger’s provocations; there’s nothing he would adore more than to sink his canines into the tender flesh of her throat. It’s that she lives on nothing but coffee, and that the invasive, acrid scent of her blood is more concerning than alluring right now.

That’s the only reason, he tells himself, he starts catering to her every need.
