2024 is when I took film a bit seriously. Early morning (and a few evenings) photowalks during the weekend resulted in two things; street photography became less daunting and I explored parts of the city that I otherwise wouldn't have. Photowalks were the place to learn about gear, complete 10k steps, and explore the best dosa joints in a given location.

Investing in a camera with a working light meter made a world of difference. FM2n FTW!

Manifesting that 2025 brings down the price of film (one can dream), keeps my lenses fungus free, and makes me shoot more than ever before.

My first roll on a medium format camera was mostly spent on capturing @shredster_11 under different light conditions. These are some of my favourite from the roll.

These scans came back many months ago but I was waiting for an occasion to post. Today @shredster_11 walks into a new decade and I follow soon after. Much more light to chase, together 🥂

Vicariously in a vacation through vacation photos from last year 🫠

But yes, I shot many rolls and did not develop everything on time so it’s all late post and all that.

People beside the road.

I have done exactly two photowalks this year. Disinterest? Maybe. Haven’t really had the motivation to shoot much this year but it’s always nice to get the scans back and see the past.

every once in a while, I am reminded of this place. an awkward daydreaming of sorts. the sounds, the smell in the air, the organised chaos, the light everywhere. memory is a strange thing.
