This week, our Artist Highlight turns to CHRYSI - an artist whose journey into techno began in the underground warehouse rave circuit of Los Angeles, where darker and heavier sounds found their natural home.

Blending theatrical presence with atmospheric tension and driving intensity, his sets explore the space between elegance and darkness.

This Friday, he will take on the closing set at MDLR, following the Singapore debut of Lorenzo Raganzini to carry the energy deeper into the early hours.

We’re partnering with the folks from GIVE. @give.xl on the 6th of March, bringing over Lorenzo Raganzini @lorenzoraganzini to MDLR for the very first time.

➤ Prepare for a relentless collision of industrial grit, tension, and unadulterated energy. Having led HEX Techno Movement and its label for over a decade, Raganzini arrives in Singapore to showcase his signature sound that is as emotional as it is aggressive.

✈︎ The Italian DJ and producer spent years refining a vision that ignores trends, sharing it at institutions all across Europe such as Berlin’s KitKatClub, Tbilisi’s KHIDI, and Ibiza’s Amnesia.

☁︎ Ragazini’s productions have landed on labels from the likes of Hex Recordings, Innergated, and No Mercy. In his own words, his music is “for the people, for the rebels, for those who want to break free.”

CHRYSI (F2F JOSHUA DILLON)

CHRYSI emerged from the underground raves of Los Angeles, carving out a hard techno vampire identity defined by razor-sharp synths, haunting melodies, and menacing kicks. With an unmistakable presence behind the decks and intensity rooted in his metal background, his sets are controlled and immersive, pulling the room into something darker and deeper from the beat. After winning the hearts of the crowd last time, he returns to GIVE: FACE with that same raw magnetism.

Going face-to-face with him is JOSHUA DILLON, a long-standing force in Singapore’s electronic scene, known for his “GIVE DIE” sound and high-pressure, bouncy sets delivered with raw control. This is a pairing Joshua’s genuinely excited about, two intense worlds meeting head-on.

Known by many as the Vampire, Chrysi has carved a space in hard techno that is entirely his own. Emerging from raves in Los Angeles, his sound is defined by sharp, unrelenting synths, heavy kicks, and a dark melodic edge that lingers long after the night ends. What sets Chrysi apart is the tension he creates: beauty laced with menace, chaos steered with precision.
