TOMORROW IS MR CARMEL!🚨🚨🚨🚨
Our final contestant is… Quinn Wu!

This senior Greyhound stays involved throughout the school day, participating in the K–8 mentoring program and spending time in the Mayor’s Office through work-based learning. He’s also a member of the Carmel Soccer team, where he’s learned the importance of teamwork and commitment. When he’s not on the field, he trades cleats for spreadsheets through DECA, where he works on business skills in a competitive setting. Outside of school, he spends time with friends and family, likes trying new foods, and works part-time at OnlyLocalTickets, a startup ticketing company. He’s excited to be part of Mr. Carmel, grateful to support a meaningful cause, and thankful for the experiences that have shaped his time at Carmel. by @chschampionstogether

2 DAYS TILL MR CARMEL🚨🚨
Our 9th contestant is… Spencer Sell!

Spencer Sell, often characterized by his charming personality and Greek God like build, is thrilled to be a part of the Mr. Carmel show tonight. After a second place campaign for Speaker of the House his junior year, he has had his eyes set on the title of Mr. Carmel. He is committed to play football at D3 Depaw University, after turning down offers from Indiana and Alabama, just to name a few. But be warned, don’t ask him about his 40 yard dash time, it’s a touchy subject. He would like to thank everyone for attending and hopes they enjoy the show! by @chschampionstogether

3 DAYS TILL MR CARMEL 🚨🚨
And our 8th contestant is… Nate Steele!

Starting for the school’s “hit squad” baseball team (yes, we rake). Known for clutch hits, questionable walk-up songs, and acting like I don’t care when I absolutely do. If there’s a big game, I’m either delivering or dramatically adjusting my batting gloves like it’s the MLB. When I’m not on the diamond, I’m in the gym playing recreational basketball — which means I call myself “lowkey athletic” but still argue about fouls like it’s the NBA Finals. My jumper is smooth… sometimes. Defense? We’re working on it. Balancing homework, practice, and pretending I understand what’s happening in math. Future plans include graduating, staying in shape, and never peaking in high school (we’re manifesting growth here). Athlete. Senior. Occasional gym legend. by @chschampionstogether

4 DAYS TILL MR CARMEL 🚨🚨
Let’s introduce our 7th contestant… Caleb Rindfuss!

Caleb Rindfuss, also known as ‘Clutch God Caleb’ by a few, is super stoked to join the ranks of this year’s Mr. Carmel. Within the walls of CHS, you’ll find Caleb acting as the President of Carmel Kindness and Project Coordinator of the DECA PM Sales Project, or simply procrastinating in his classes. Outside of school, you can expect the utmost brilliance from Mr. Rindfuss. From dropping donuts (zero-point performances) in his CDC basketball games to going all-in preflop in low-stakes poker—and even taking on oil painting—Caleb embraces embarrassment and failure for the sake of personal growth. Although Caleb understands his performance may be too good to even process, he hopes that everyone can walk away from Mr. Carmel with a better understanding of the reasons for the event, or, at the very least, a good time. by @chschampionstogether

5 DAYS TILL MR CARMEL🚨🚨
Lets introduce our 6th contestant… Jackson Koechel

Jackson Koechel is a Unified flag football and track captain. He is a three year member and dance captain of The Carmel Ambassadors. Also Jackson is a three year CHTV staff member who does a lot of work behind the camera. If you have heard “good morning greyhounds” in your srt then Jackson is doing his job correctly. Jackson is excited to attend Indiana University in the fall as a direct admit into the Kelley School of Business. One of Jackson’s favorite Unified memories is going to flag football state finals. However his brother Myle’s favorite Unified memory is winning state flag football finals. Jackson is honored to be here tonight and wishes all contestants the best of luck. by @chschampionstogether

6 DAYS TILL MR CARMEL🚨🚨
Our 5th contestant is… Luke Feller!

Luke Feller is a student at Carmel High school who spends most of his time either in the pool, at practice, or pretending he’s not sore from practice. He’s a swimmer who believes chlorine is basically a personality trait at this point. He’s also the only person in his family whose name doesn’t start with the letter J. When he’s not racing laps, Luke stays involved at school through Greyhound Connections, where he helps out and proves he can be responsible. Outside of school, Luke’s priorities are simple: hanging out with friends, playing poker (purely for fun, definitely not to lose money), and recovering from workouts. He’s known for his laid-back vibe, competitive streak, and the ability to survive on minimal sleep and maximum snacks. Overall, Luke is trying to finish senior year strong, drop some fast times, and enjoy life before the real world makes him wake up even earlier than swim practice. by @chschampionstogether

7 DAYS TILL MR CARMEL🚨🚨
Our 4th contestant is… Will Engledow!

Will Engledow is very excited to be a part of this year’s Mr. Carmel Competition. Will is a manager at Carmel High School’s radio station, 91.3 WHJE, where he’s often complimented by friends and family who say he has a great face for radio. You can catch Will calling a wide range of Carmel sports or hosting his show, Everything Carmel, where he talks all things Greyhounds. When he’s not behind a microphone, Will is also a member of the Unified Football team, where he served as a leader on the defensive side of the ball. This season, Will finished sectionals with multiple pass breakups, a crucial interception in the semifinals, and in the finals, was mossed about three times by Warren Central, a humbling but character-building experience. Will is incredibly grateful for the opportunity to be part of Mr. Carmel and proud to support Champions Together and the impact it has on students and the Carmel community. by @chschampionstogether

Drew Boyce is so excited to be competing in Mr. Carmel this year!! At CHS, he is currently involved in Carmel Choirs as the co-president of the Carmel Ambassadors, so he has home court advantage and knows the lights wont be too bright for him tonight. He is also a big Tyrese Haliburton fan, and is hoping to channel Hali’s clutch gene when he shoots his shot for the title tonight. In all seriousness, he is honored to be working with the other amazing contestants, would like to thank Champions Together for the opportunity, and is so humbled to use this platform to raise money and awareness for the Special Olympics program. He’s grateful for his friends, family, and all of you for making this night possible, and hopes it helps inspire people to keep advocating for the special needs community.
