Honestly, how could I pass up a matching set of Cobras? I’ve always found #johnnylightning stuff to be hit or miss, but these look pretty good to me! #shelbycobra #diecastcollector #diecastcollection #carculture by @chsdadsdiecast

So I’ve been hearing that the red one is going for over $100 and the blue is going for over $400…. Is that for real? Why? Maybe it is time to start selling off some of the collection…. #hotwheelscustom62chevy #hotwheelscollector #hotwheelscollection

A couple ‘90s GM factory hot rods from #hotwheels. I wish they’d focus on more American cars….

Here are a couple of Larry Wood designed castings. A Larry’s Garage replica of the ‘51 GM Le Sabre concept, and the Street Beast from the early-‘90s. I can’t help but think Larry might’ve been inspired by the Le Sabre when he designed the Street Beast. Well, that and a little Studebaker, and maybe a little Stutz Bearcat, too.

A couple recent #nissanskylinegtrr34 releases from Hot Wheels and Adventure Force (Maisto). The only time I’ve seen either of these releases was the day I picked these up. Amazing how fast things disappear from the stores these days….

A couple red hammers! A mid-‘80s Matchbox Mercedes Benz 500SEC AMG and a recent Hot Wheels Mercedes Benz 560SEC AMG. They’re both great castings!

A couple old #playart survivor castings from my childhood. The #alfaromeop33 and Esso tanker truck. They weren’t favorites when I was a kid, which is probably why they are still in such good condition, but they sure bring back memories! #diecastcollector #diecastcollection #carculture by @chsdadsdiecast

Finally found the #hotwheels #lamborghinimiura “Lego” set! I love the details on this, especially the wheels. My one complaint would be that the headlights are a little too close together, and the front end is a little blunt. But considering it’s a building block set, it’s pretty awesome. The price was a little painful, but it’s a really nice set & the 1/64 model that’s included is pretty impressive. I included a regular casting for comparison. #hotwheelscollector #hotwheelscollection #carculture by @chsdadsdiecast

A couple old #yatming Ford vans. When we were kids, my mom always gave these out in our goodie bags for our birthday parties. These are two survivors from those days. #diecastcollector #diecastcollection #carculture by @chsdadsdiecast
