What is CHSPL2022? It's a project I, @coachnict , created to fulfill a need. Since I started with USA Powerlifting as a referee in 2020, there was a lot of rebuilding to do. For High School & College athletes to be able to start and compete as teams, there needed to be meets. I have focused on learning and growing these two Divisions in the last 4 years. By creating @bratpackproductions to run meets, I have specialized in these 2 Divisions and how they work to get them to Nationals, as well as help athletes start and plan Club Teams. There's a lot to know as these athletes have both School AND Age Division categories they can compete in, both with their own National Meets, Qualifying Totals, and requirements.
I have run at least one HS & Collegiate meet each year. This year, I have a dedicated High School meet on Sunday, November 17th.

Powerlifting is not a sanctioned sport in CA. There are no High School Powerlifting Associations like a few states have, and it is not a sport that gets recruited or scholarships except for a VERY small handful in a few states. That is why I also highlight the Colleges that have Club Teams so our High School athletes can connect to where they plan on going after they graduate. I am very fortunate to have had the support of @usaplcalifornia and @usapowerlifting in mentorship, support of the State Chairs, as well as coaches who are trying to grow teams as well. Many students are trying to start their own, but they need advisors and someone to support them. As a Physical Education teacher, I started a club at my previous high school and it was 100% volunteer, donations and fundraisers. This page is meant to provide information and connect these athletes, parents, coaches so we can help each other.

Last but not lease we have our Team Treasurer Eli! Eli already has 4 meets under his belt including the @usaplcalifornia State Championship! He has also done an AMAZING job of getting sponsors for the team!

Next up for Session 2 we have our Club President Arthur!! He also qualified at @bratpackproductions @usaplcalifornia @usapowerlifting California High School Open II, 2025! This is his 4th year as a Club Powerlifter!! He deadlifting over 400lbs his first meet as a freshman!! Let's gooo!!!
