2022–2025… from my very first day to my very last, Spirit Airlines gave me an experience that truly changed my life.

Coming into this industry, I won’t lie it felt intimidating. As a bigger guy, it sometimes seemed like there were unspoken expectations about what you’re supposed to look like to “fit” this role. There were moments where I questioned if I even belonged here. But Spirit didn’t make me feel that way. They gave me a chance when I needed one, and that meant everything.

From day one, I wasn’t just learning how to do a job—I was learning how to grow into myself. I learned patience, resilience, how to handle pressure, how to connect with people from all walks of life, and how to keep going even on the hardest days. This job pushed me in ways I didn’t expect, but it also shaped me into someone stronger, more confident, and more understanding.

There were early mornings, long delays, unpredictable days, and moments where I was exhausted… but there were also laughs, friendships, unforgettable memories, and a sense of pride every time I put that uniform on. I wasn’t just working I was part of something bigger, and I was along for the ride every step of the way.

Spirit Airlines will always be my first airline, and that alone makes it special. It’s where I started, where I proved to myself that I could do this, and where I built a foundation I’ll carry with me wherever I go next.

No matter where life takes me, I’ll always look back on this chapter with gratitude. Thank you for taking me in, for teaching me so much, and for giving me a journey I’ll never forget. 💛✈️ by @chubbyboydaniel

A plot twist honestly lol

In the beginning, I was overwhelmed and truly questioned if I even wanted to make this switch. I was tired, scared, and unsure but I trusted God and gave all my worries to Him.

Fast forward 5 ½ weeks later…
I made it to the end 😭

P.S….. caught food poisoning twice, sprained my shoulder, caught a cold, and STILL showed up. taken in Orlando, Florida by @chubbyboydaniel
