Back in 1996. I was stunting on my whip(my moped) down to the carnival. As a 14 year old. Life was good and I a few dollars on me. I came up on the ring toss. Y'all old heads would know you had to get these dumb little rings on these glass jars to win a prize! So me being 8 bucks deep, played and got lucky. I won a prize! A signed vanilla ice picture 📸 . The ladies didn't know what to do when I was holding my new prize on my moped!

Fast forward to today. My baby had a doctor's appointment. I was like waittttttt a second(in my dave chapelle voice). Is that the same pose my guy was doing in my picture from 1996?

So after a vast mumbling conversation and the use of my spider sense. My daughter had this to say at her appointment.

Baby " Dad, why do I go to the doctor?
I'm not sick but he knows I'm the illest!"

Kids these days......👶🤣👶🤣💩💩

To you Joe Dales! Happy Birthday my friend.

But before I go I have a few things to say to you. Everyone look at this first picture. Over the years, This man Joe Dales made it a deal to have me a birthday party. Joe wasn't just a friend. Joe was a man who took me in and made me family. Joe was a man who at the end of the day, wanted me to be the best I could be. Back in 2014, you helped bail me out of a huge financial hole. I will forever be grateful for your love and respect. Mannnnnnnn, you just don't mean a lot to me. You mean a lot to a bunch of people.

It's just not fair and not the same without you around. You were a true friend to many, a loyal person, and a faithful saint. The community sure does miss you. Your Family sure does miss you. We miss you!

But as I look at my lawnmowers, I cant but stop thinking about how we bartered over the years. These machines and trailer were bought by you. I miss the everyday smack talk! I know when that phone call came from you it was on. Rolling into the office harrassing you and you looking at me saying "ranger don't you got anything to do!!!!"

You even predicted my baby girl. You cussed me and told me on our way back from the football championship game last year, that I would have a kid! You will always be Uncle Joe. With our birthdays only 3 days apart. It's hard to even think of myself on my birthday.

If saying we all miss you is a understatement then hell, it's a understatement. I'm doing my best helping out the family. We got your families back! I hang out with your mom a lot and bug her for you. Kay probably gets tired of me checking in on her. The kids are doing good!

So as I look down my driveway. Its this time of the year that the raptor truck backs up, you stick your head out and yell, "Let's go babyyyyyyyyyyyy, football time!!!!"

To you Joe. Our friend and guardian Angel. We miss you, we love you and need you more than ever!

See you one day brother! Love you.
